Among the so-called experts are the old-fashioned central planners and government-is-pure preachers who prescribe dangerously defective cures for the problems outlined in this five-part video. Some will bad-mouth profits, others will finger greed, and a few will reach deep into their bag of tricks and blame an invention they call corporate terrorism.
All are incorrect.
The two ingredients that are critical to safer drug use are reliable information and lively prosecution for fraud. To that end, patients and doctors need to recognize the difference between marketing hype and research, and those who hire law enforcers need to know that foxes do not guard henhouses.
